Cosplay Dating Game

Its back again...The Cosplay Dating Game.

We will be doing 3 rounds per show (I hope....it all depends on your applicants).

The Adult Cosplay Dating Game will be 17+ this year to conform to manga/anime sales standards.

We are currently looking for contestants to partake in this event. If you have the ability to improv in character, and have a costume of a well known character.

We Want You!

We need at least 4 males and 4 females in each show.

The breakdown per show goes like this:

These are the options we have available for sections of the show....we will not be doing 4 sections per show

CDG

  • 1 girl 3 guys for bachlorette
  • 1 guy 3 girls for bachelor
  • 4 girls for yuri
  • 4 guys for yaoi

ACDG 17+

  • 1 girl 3 guys for bachlorette
  • 1 guy 3 girls for bachelor
  • 4 girls for yuri
  • 4 guys for yaoi
The rules:
  1. THIS IS NOT FIRST COME FIRST SERVE
  2. Must Be Available 1 hour prior for preparation!!!
  3. Staff have final say on who does or does not get to perform.
  4. You must be over 17 to participate in the Adult Cosplay Dating Game.
  5. The main show is pg 13, please make sure you will be able to hold yourself with the proper composure so that we do not need to use censored signs again.
  6. The ACDG game is 17+ and can only be attended by those over than 17.
  7. Having a well designed costume is extremely important. You do not have to make the costume yourself, but we would prefer if you did (commissioned is fine too).
  8. If you're costume is deemed to not identify your character well enough you will be replaced.
  9. Priority will be given to those who have more experience in acting/improv.
  10. In your application you must write "all your base are belong to______" for your badge name (with the blank`being your badge name/intended badge name).
  11. All Con rules must be followed.
  12. If you can not show up to practice you will be replaced unless staff approval for missing the meeting is acquired before hand.
  13. If you do not seem to have the needed level of improv/acting ability you may be replaced (granted if you have any this probably won’t be a problem).
  14. If you do not have good enough chemistry with the others who will be on stage with you, you may be replaced.
  15. If you want to sign up with friends or have any suggestions on themes that we can run with for your character (ex. Cannon or AU Pairing love is short/young) please type it in in the other information section.

Please be aware that this application is on the longer side and may need prep-work to go along with it.

Applications are not due until the fall (date to be determined) so please take your time with these applications.

If you feel that the questions are going too in depth for you, please ask yourself how well you really know the character you are portraying.

This application requires a picture of the character you will be playing in the costume you will be wearing. 512 kb size limit.

We also ask for but do not require a picture of yourself (preferably a full body or head shot where you are clearly defined (not just eyes peeking out of a blanket lol))

We require by the month before the convention a picture of you in the costume you will be wearing.
