Karaoke?

I am a karaoke addict and I would love to see it at Bakuretsucon. I think its a popular staple to many other cons and could maybe draw in some more people? The only thing is that I haven't seen it done before there, and doing a full con karaoke room could be a flop. So maybe do a karaoke 2 hour block once or twice during the con to see the reaction. I dont know if such a thing could be possible but it could be cool just to test the waters, no?

We actually had Karaoke for years, I think the first year you attended was the first year we didn't run it. The equipment was supplied by a former staffer who also staffed AB and had all his own stuff. He moved and we no longer had access to any equipment. At first it was very popular and we ran it all the time. After a while it died off and we would run it in 2 hour blocks in a panel room. The last year we ran it there was pretty much no one attending any more so we didn't feel it would be worth purchasing equipment. Its not that we don't like it but we just didn't have the resources any more.

....however, if you can drum up support from a bunch of people that all say they want karaoke, it is in our power to make it happen again if we think it will be worthwhile.
