Two items which Japan is famous for are Anime and Trains. Trains are a large part of daily Japanese life as is anime. In any modern day anime setting, characters are either riding trains or else a train will be passing by. Often, trains are used to define classic poignant scenes separating two lovers. Like music, trains are a device that the writer uses to help tell the story. We’ll also explore the culture of riding trains and look at many lesser known details like train music, different types of conveyances and fare collection. This will be a real treat for both anime fans and rail fans alike.
